YOU'RE INVITED TO OUR OPEN HOUSE: CELEBRATING TWO YEARS OF HOPE!

Your family is cordially invited to join us in a special second anniversary celebration and prayer time on Sunday, March 30th from 3-5p.m. at our center in the Salvation Army (600 Wilson Creek Parkway). This "come and go" open house will give you a deeper look inside the ministry as we show you how we serve our clients. We will also share the vision God has given us for the growth and expansion of HOPE Resource Center. And while you are with us, we ask that you spend a few quiet moments in the chapel praying for our community, clients, churches, volunteers, board and staff. A prayer request sheet will be provided.

HOPE Approaches Two Year Anniversary

March 28th will mark the two year anniversary of the opening of HOPE Resource Center of McKinney. We are so grateful to the Lord for bringing us to this milestone! It is ever certain that His hand is knitting together a stronger and stronger ministry with each passing month. We see Him bringing the people with just the right skills at just the right time. We see more and more churches partnering with us to boldly uphold life and the spread the gospel. And we are constantly awed by how he matches clients with client advocates who have similar interests and experiences.

As we approach this important date, we want you to be aware of the number of families that have been touched by your prayers and gifts since we opened in 2006. As of February 29, we have logged 545 client visits, which represent more than 300 women and families served. In fact, this February we saw our highest volume of appointments and walk-ins yet—52 client visits! (Remember we are only open 6 hrs. per week!) We provide these clients with free life-affirming services such as pregnancy tests, guidance on pregnancy options, discussions of sexual purity, educational classes, Bible studies, community referrals, and of course our goal is to share the gospel with everyone who comes through our doors. We praise God that at least 25 clients have made a profession of faith while at the center! Many have changed their views about abortion and continued their pregnancies to term, and we believe two women in crisis pregnancies chose life for their babies and made adoption plans.
